Did the 04:50 run go out?

Yes, with the spare driver. The rostered driver didn't sign on by 04:35, so I assigned Dana, rested and licensed. The service left on time.

Questions from transport.

What happens when a driver doesn't sign on?

At the cut-off you set, for example fifteen minutes before the duty, the spare driver is assigned and told, and the service runs. The supervisor gets the brief, not the phone call.

Are driving-time and rest rules checked?

Yes. Driving time, rest between duties and licence validity are checked before the roster saves, and again when a delay changes a duty.

How are split duties paid?

Split duties are recorded as one duty with a break. Pay and allowances follow your rules.

Does it track licences and medicals?

Yes. Licences, medicals and certificates are stored per driver and flagged before they expire.
